The nation recognises that this industry is defined by environmental destruction, high mortality, and greenwashed PR.

The Scottish salmon industry spends millions on slick adverts and „sustainability“ claims to convince you everything is fine.
They aren’t telling you the truth.
A recent poll (Survation, March 2026) shows that the Scottish public is seeing through the noise:
🚫 ONE-THIRD (33%) of Scots now want an immediate HALT to ALL farm expansions.
🚫 OVER 25% want the open-net industry PHASED OUT entirely.
📉 LESS THAN 10% of people believe the industry should carry on without changes.
When you remove the industry’s own marketing, the public mandate is clear: the status quo is unacceptable. Over 90% of Scots do not support the industry ‘as is.’
Public awareness is our only weapon. The tides are turning.
