We at IWF thank Árni Baldursson – the fly fishing legend, for his generous donation and warm words. Iceland is one of the final frontiers for the magnificent wild North Atlantic Salmon. If the open net-pen salmon farming industry manages to expand in our beautiful fjords, escaped farmed fish will lead to genetic mixing with our unique wild salmon stocks and eventually their extinction. We can not let that happen.
